SNARE Lab quantifies intraepidermal nerve fibre density (IENFD) for cohort studies and clinical protocols. If your study would benefit from a skin-biopsy endpoint and you do not want to build the method in-house, we read the samples and return data you can analyse.

How we work with studies

Every sample is read blinded to group and time point, to the EFNS/PNS 2010 protocol, against age- and sex-matched reference values. You receive a per-sample dataset with IENFD in fibres per millimetre and representative images. Before your protocol is final, we help you decide the biopsy site, the time points and the readout. Pricing is project-based: write to us with your study and we will discuss it.
